A band that has managed to release albums for almost 30 years has been short changed a terrific and talented lead singer. It is sad to dedicated fans world wide, family members, and band members to hear the shocking news of the unexpected death of Brad Delp.

Brad Delp was know to thousands if not millions of fans as the talented lead singer of a popular classic rock band know as Boston. He was unfortunately found dead Friday 3/09/2007 in his home in southern New Hampshire. Brad was sadly only 55 years old.

Police stated there was no reason to assume any foul play, but his death is still a mystery. No one knows exactly what caused his sudden death. All we do know is at 1:20 in the after noon, Atkinson police responded to a call for help where they discovered the lead singer of Boston, Brad Delp, dead.

According to Police Chief Philip Consentino who made a statement to WMUR-TV "There was nothing disrupted in the house. He was a fairly healthy person from what we're able to ascertain,". It was reported by Lt. William Baldwin that it has appeared that brad Delp was alone at the time of death.

The police are still investigating the actual cause of death, and an incident report should be out by Monday. Therefore there is no reason to suspect any murder as of yet.

Brad Delp was well known and made popular with the band Boston. After meeting Tom Scholz, an MIT student interested in experimental methods of recording music, according to the group's official Web site, he joined the band in the early 1970s. The band experienced large success mostly during their first ten years. However, Boston continued to rock well in the millennium. Bostons last appearance was in November 2006 at Boston's Symphony Hall. Boston also had new releases throughout the past decade.

Their last album recorded was Corporate America, released back in 2002. However their most influential and most recognized hits were in the 70's with the songs "More than a Feeling" and "Long Time."

Although no reported statements have been made by any of the band members personally, they did, just as of Friday night, take down their site and replace it with a statement the read as follows: "We just lost the nicest guy in rock and roll." It is clear that he will truly be missed by the band and thousands of fans around the world.
