Emily Maynard Will We See Her Again Soon?

Brad and Emily are the couple that gained a lot of fame and their popularity continues to linger long after the "Bachelor" show is done. While it is well known now, that Brad and Emily are no longer a couple, if you needed any more proof, there is some. Emily is talking with ABC about being the next "Bachelorette, " according to the website The Stir.

If Brad and Emily were still together, this would not be happening, unless of course they were starting some type of odd "Three's Company" show. Rumor is also circulating that they may put this season's Bentley on the "Bachelorette" again, this time with Emily at the helm. As much as this guy is a real heel, he is one of Emily's biggest fans.

While Emily has been in the news, Brad Womack has not been heard of for quite some time. The Brad and Emily saga has kept his name in the media, but he is nowhere in the media today. Emily is too popular for ABC to let go, but if they don't jump on the popularity wagon now, she too may follow the numerous reality stars who are gone after their 15 minutes of fame.

Emily wants to pursue a career to be a star, according to The Stir, but she may be fighting a losing battle statistically. Other than Elisabeth Hasslebeck, who came off of the show "Survivor," no reality star has made a name for themselves in another entertainment venue, at least not one that is main stream celebrity.

While the Brad and Emily saga brought quite a bit of attention to the "Bachelor" franchise, this season's "Bachelorette" with Ashley is making headlines because she is being made a fool of by one man in particular, Bentley. The other men also participated in a roast that left Ashley devastated.

Ashley is not entertaining enough on her own, but throwing in all these insults to bring up the ratings has given the "Bachelorette" a different feel than in previous seasons. It is built more ratings around degrading Ashley than it is building her up as a good catch for a possible outcome of a love match at the end. It is doubtful that Emily, if she does go on to be the next "Bachelorette," will fall prey to this type of treatment.
