Brad Keselowski was not too happy with Kyle Busch following the NASCAR Nationwide race on the Dover Monster Mile Saturday May 14. Keselowski took to Twitter to express his displeasure with much maligned three series star. Keselowski posted on his Twitter account, "Damn, just saw 18 replay. Even madder now! Clearly audible he gasses up and drove thru us. He has one coming from me!"
Kyle Busch will need more than a few sets of eyes as he races in the Dover NASCAR Sprint Cup race. He has already upset Kevin Harvick and now Brad Keselowski will be looking for his number. Busch has played off the physical altercation Harvick pursued after the race in Darlington by commenting following the race, "I'm a racer, not a fighter."
Both Harvick and Busch did not let last week's altercation pass when they were interviewed in the media center either. Harvick led with a comment regarding Busch's unwillingness to fight, "Where I come from, when you hook a guy in the right rear quarter panel that is equal to hockey when you throw of the gloves."
Busch revealed he had not forgotten what Harvick did to him in Homestead last season. Harvick purposely turned Busch on the straightaway when Busch attempted a slide job in the NASCAR Sprint Cup finale. Busch said in the media center, "He'll talk to you to your face like you're best friends, but then behind closed doors... he has the utmost disrespectful thoughts," Busch said regarding Harvick.
Harvick also called out the entire No. 18 team, "The No. 18 team is not backing him up, I mean when you don't have a backbone how do you back someone up?"
Both drivers will be on probation until Father's Day in Michigan but probation doesn't mean much in NASCAR. the drivers were also fined $25,000 but no points were deducted. One way to know the line being drawn by NASCAR is when points are taken away. NASCAR is secretly happy with the events that have transpired and they know the Darlington incident sold a few more tickets for Dover.
