Brad Womack, ABC's The Bachelor, Rejects Both Female Finalists

In order to explain the events of the last Monday night episode of the Bachelor, one must exam the true intention of the girls' behaviors, and the true intentions of Brad. Brad, who, although is a bar tender, is a very sensitive guy. He knows what he wants, and will do anything to get it. At least, that's what I've gotten out of having watched this season. Normally, I do not watch this show, because of the language and sexual content, but I was sort of curious to see what it was like. So, I watched the first episode, and kept watching, because I was curious on how it would turn out.

In the first episode, he met all twenty-five girls. Jenni Croft was first girl to get the impression rose. Deanna Pappas spoke Greek to him, trying to get his intentions. Bettina Bell was the one who had been married previously, and that in the end, did not agree with Brad. Remember? He's the one that said in the end it should be one and one only that you are married to. And, he's right. Sheena Stewart recognized his twin, and his twin liked her. So, why did Brad not give her a rose that night? That's a question that I still haven't answered.

In the end, Brad ruled out all but three girls, leaving Bettina, Jenni, and Deanna. So, which one will he choose? The end is drawing near. They all went home for there lovely family meetings, all of but one did not exceptionally go well. He felt he was being questioned by Bettina's family, which is understandable. If they were not wanting her to have anything to do with him, they would not have sent her on the show. In their defense, I understand how not having an education and his current lifestyle would effect him. He and Bettina's family just didn't fit together. Brad fit in well with Jenni's family, but she received word that she had been accepted with the Phoenix Sun dancers. This would mean waiting another year before marriage. Deanna's family was the most accepting of Brad, and he fit well into their home. He even enjoyed the Greek dancing and food.

In the end, I feel that they both seemed a slight bit fake. Deanna batted her eyes, every time she tried to tell him how she felt. This led me to believe that she may be a little more in it for the competition, than she was willing to accept. Jenni kept a journal of her feelings and the journey she has had towards Brad, and showed it to him at the final meal. She may have thought she was being sentimental, but it may have seemed a bit forward to Brad. Plus, she cries every time she tries to be serious about her feelings. I think Brad just wanted someone to honestly look him in the eye and say they loved him, rather than being a bit fake.
This show tends to bring emotions into people that wouldn't necessarily have to be there. They bring out the worst in those girls, especially. It's almost as if they were in junior high or high school again, having all of those little sissy fights.

I have to admit, I somewhat enjoyed this show, but I don't know if I will be that involved again. This really proves that you can't make true love happen, and that it shouldn't happen on a Reality T.V show. So, here we leave Brad a bachelor again, and probably know that he has made the right decision.
