While the family seemed to like Chantal they absolutely loved Emily. No one was truly surprised by that. On the surface Emily is beautiful and nice, but she also comes with a lot of baggage, and I don't mean her child.
Emily's husband had died years earlier and this affected how she acted for most of the show. I wouldn't exactly call her a fan favorite, but had she cried less throughout the show, she could have been. But then again, who can blame her for it? No one can deny that she is a beautiful caring lady and that is perhaps why she stood out appeal-wise over Chantal, for Brad.
Did Brad choose the right girl? Go to the polls and let your opinion be heard. Not that it matters now as Brad chose Emily, so I guess she was doing something right. Brad Womack teamed up with Neil Lane for Emily's engagement ring.
If you missed the final episode you can see the season 15 episode 10 . See pictures of the final two. Although the current season of 'Bachelor' debuted with the second lowest premiere ratings ever the show continued to bring in over 10 million viewers on average, per week.
Where are the now?
On 'After the Final Rose' Brad admitted he and Emily had already broke up since choosing her. He said they went through the trials and tribulations that any couple goes through, but that they made it through it. Brad called Emily the woman of his dreams. He says they are still engaged and that he isn't letting her go.
Emily came out and admitted they hadn't seen each other in a month. Emily said she is very confident in how she feels about him, that they are still a couple, and that she still loves him. She admitted to Chris Harrison that they are still engaged, she said yes, even thought Brad wasn't aware where she stood. Emily admitted she is not ready to get married and that she wishes she was. She says they need to figure out some things about each other first before marrying him. It is understandable, but why on Earth would she go through the show if she did not want to get married?
