Bradenton Beach, Florida Restaurants: Family Fun at the Beach House Restaurant

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Florida is the Beach house. Located right on Bradenton beach, it is the perfect restaurant for people to enjoy dinner or lunch while looking out at the ocean.

The service at the Beach house is the one thing you never know about with this place. Depending on the crowds it can be good or bad. It's not even just on the weekends. I've gone to the restaurant in the evenings on weekdays and have had to wait an hour to get seated. The best time to come is usually earlier like around five when the crowds aren't so built up. When I am finally seated my waiter will usually come over to take my drink order pretty quickly.

One of the biggest reasons why I come to the beach house is because of the setting. They serve both outside and inside. Since the restaurant is right next to the beach, you can lie on the warm soft sand and tan or go for a swim while you wait for your food. The restaurant is very casual, so can wear your bathing suit while at an outside table. There is a cool breeze that blows through in the afternoons which helps keep the seating outside cooler especially in the summer. In the evening during dinner there is normally a band that plays for entertainment.

The beach house has two different menus for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu has a variety of salads, sandwiches and unique entrees. The price range is from four to fourteen dollars. My personal favorite when I come to the Beach house is their seafood gumbo. The gumbo has almost all the seafood I can think of and is mixed in with tasty rice. While I waited for my food, I spoke to a man and woman who had the calamari appetizer. I asked them how it was and the man said, "It was delicious." Just before they left I asked them what they thought about the Beach House. They said "we loved the food and we would come back the next time were in town." The dinner menu has a little higher price but the food and view are worth it. Their prices are from ten to twenty four dollars. The dinner menu has a wide range of seafood, salads, burgers and pastas. When I come in for dinner I usually order the Stuffed Tilapia or the Black Jack Mahi Sandwich. Both of these are great.

The Beach house is a nice place to come for a drink or a meal and is a great place for people of all ages to enjoy.
