Bradley Gellert of Apollo Beach, Florida, was arrested on suspicion of choking his wife. The official charges are felony domestic battery by strangulation. Many men and women commit domestic battery daily, what makes this story unique is the shirt Bradley was wearing when he was arrested. Bradley Gellert was wearing a shirt that says "I heart my marriage" You can see his mugshot here. News channel WTSP has posted the arrest report says that the couple were arguing over drugs when the incident took place.
I spoke to one of Bradley Gellert's neighbors who was shocked by the news. The neighbor described Bradley as a very religious man. That fact that Bradley is a religious man makes his shirt make sense. The shirt was a giveaway from the Christian movie "Fireproof" This movie Fireproof is a love story that inspires couples in the church and community according to the movies website. Kirk Cameron also stared in the movie. The website Fireproof my marriage is based off of the movie and helps couple save their marriage. In my opinion, I don't believe Bradley Gellert is a welcomed spokesman for the movie or website. Bradley should fireproof his own marriage by not strangling his wife while arguing over drugs.
Bradley Gellert managed to make Keith Olbermann's list of worst people in the world. Bradley came in at the 3rd worst person in the world last night. Now, that is something to be proud of.
According Bradley Gellert's Linkedin profile, he is a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial in Tampa Florida. He also volunteers as a advocacy Chair for the American Cancer Society.

I KNOW BOTH PARTIES AND I CAN TELL YOU SHE IS A WONDERFUL MOM AND ALL HE HAS DONE IS PUT HER THROUGH PURE HELL.... I MEAN COME ON WEAR THAT SHIRT AND TRY AND KILL SOMEONE YOU SUPOSABLY LOVE.... I dont think its her intention to convict him at all.... i heard she was going to drop the charges because she DOESNT want him to go to jail. Which I personally think is idiotic.
As usual the media has taken it upon itself along with alot of busybodies to convict this man without even knowing him or his wife and their situation or what really happened. What happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty?

Regardless of what the argument was over. Any man who puts his hands on a woman in a manner that is hostile should be dragged over hot colas while having an umbrella opened inside his urethra. It's unacceptable. What the hell is wrong with guys today?! The was the first golden rule I learned as a young boy. You DO NOT strike a woman... EVER! Man up, and walk away!

resulting in bruising and cuts on her right knee and shin. He then grabbed her top, tearing it from her body, and took her to the ground, choking her. She screamed for her son, and her daughter came in, which is when he stopped. She then took her kids and left to go to the police station, where upon leaving, he, in front of witnesses, said that when he got out of jail he would kill her.
A couple of the officers recognized her from previous incidents where she declined pressing charges because she didn't want him to go to jail. The children being part of it this time is what changed her mind. Bradley turned himself in. So its the story itself. Not just one side.
All of this can be verified by the HCSO official report.
Seeing as she has been providing a healthy environment for the kids without his help for over a year, I found it necessary to stress that at no point in the report is it EVER inclined that she has any involvement with drugs.

First Last- The police report says they got into an argument over his drug use. I do understand Police reports can be wrong. There are only two people who know what they were really arguing about, the husband and wife. You did provide additional details to me through a email message about this case that I find interesting. Feel free to post the rest of your message here. I think many people would be interested in what happened next.
I thought you might be interested in some of the official statement details. Some sources are saying the argument was over drugs. It was actually over the fact that Bradley had recently given up his kids rooms to two people who were smoking pot and drinking on a daily basis. His wife, (who hasn't lived with him in over a year) said that there is no way a court would allow him custody of the kids when that was the environment he was providing, and he needed to start being a better father, and he took it as a threat.
The incident also didn't happen at his house, it happened at the church her parents pastor, which is also where she uses an office for her work. (Interesting fact, this is the same church that Sarah Lunde went to). After telling the kids to leave the office, he closed the door and proceeded to scream at the victim, kicking and throwing items around the office, though the only thing he threw into her was the desk itself, which he flipped into her leg, resulting in bruising
