Brady Bunch Cast: Where Are They Now?

The Brady Bunch TV sitcom ran for five years in prime-time from 1969 to 1974 on ABC. Though the Brady Bunch never succeeded in the ratings it became a legendary TV show when its 117 episodes were placed into syndication in 1975. From that year on the Brady Bunch was watched by millions of kids all over America everyday in the afternoon after school and the show became a part of Americana.

The Brady Bunch featured nine main characters including the six kids, the mom and dad and Alice the housekeeper and today half of all Americans can sing at least part of the Brady Bunch theme song.

This is where the nine actors who portrayed the main characters from the show are today.

Florence Henderson who played mom Carol Brady

Florence Henderson has appeared in well over 100 movies and TV shows in her career but will always best be remembered as mom Carol Brady. Today Florence Henderson who is the youngest of ten children and has four children of her own also has her own TV talk show called the Florence Henderson Show.

Robert Reed who played dad Mike Brady

Robert Reed was a Shakespearean trained actor who will also be best remembered as dad Mike Brady. Reed was admittedly gay though he was married for two years early in his career and had a daughter Caroline who was born in 1958 and was never thrilled about his role on the Brady Bunch. He was fired after the 5th season but the show was canceled before he could be replaced.

Gene Hackman was originally considered for the role of Mike Brady in 1969 but was deemed to inexperienced for the part. Robert Reed died of colon cancer in 1992 at age 59 while suffering from AIDS.

Ann B. Davis as Alice Nelson the maid

Ann B. Davis was the joking maid Alice Nelson on the show who almost always appeared wearing her blue maid's uniform. Though she appeared in a few other TV shows and films Ann B. Davis career was mainly Alice from the Brady Bunch. Ann B. Davis has a twin sister and today lives in a religious retirement community in Texas and is 84 years old.

Barry Williams as oldest son and child Greg Brady

Barry Williams was born in 1954 and his whole career has revolved around his role as Greg Brady. Williams has gotten work since the Brady Bunch but mostly so shows ans movies could say "Yes that's Greg Brady" in their show or movie. In 2010 Barry Williams landed a role in the low budget mockbuster film Mega Piranha which mocks Piranha 3-D.

Maureen McCormick as oldest daughter Marcia Brady

With her all-American good looks Maureen McCormick was probably the real star of the Brady Bunch and certainly the favorite character of adolescent males who watched the show. In 2008 she published her autobiography entitled Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.

Today Maureen McCormick who was born in 1956 still has her beautiful all-American looks.

Christopher Knight as Peter Brady

Christopher Knight played middle son Peter Brady and since the show has become a successful businessman and done numerous guest appearances on TV and reality shows and today is married to Adrianne Curry who was the first winner of America's Top Model from its inaugural 2003 season.

Eve Plumb as Jan Brady

Eve Plumb played middle daughter Jan who was best known for her jealousy of older sister Marcia and her classic whining line of "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" which has was hilarious and has been parodied countless times including on Saturday Night Live. Today Eve Plumb is an artist and had a rock band named after her called Eve's Plumb.

Mike Lookinland as youngest son Bobby Brady

Mike Lookinland played youngest son Bobby Brady who always getting into trouble as plots for the show. Lookinland did around 30 television commercials before the Brady Bunch and was in the 1974 movie The Towering Inferno but has had no real career since the show and was arrested for DUI in 1997 in Utah. He married in in 1987 and has two sons and does some stage and camera work on movies.

Susan Olsen as youngest daughter and child Cindy Brady

Susan Olsen played lisping youngest daughter Cindy Brady. After the show Olsen was a deejay for a bit and today is an animal welfare advocate who watches over unwanted kittens until they are adopted. Olsen has sometimes been rumored to have been an adult film star.

Today she lives in LA with her son who has Asperger's Syndrome which is generally a milder form of autism.

    a show that is in the hearts of millions of children and adults fans who grew up with them over the years. love to cast of the bradys and the one who have died over the years.gone but not for gotten. i thank them for the happiest memoirs i had as child grewing up. w.h.land
