Brainard Airport Exhibits and Flies New Piper Matrix
Single Engine Light Jet Priceless for Flying Enjoyment
This new private jet climbs an atmospheric ceiling height of 25,000 feet. Its light weight and powerfully efficient single turbo engine propells the Matrix at 260 knots or 299.26 m.p.h. The craft is designed to carry five passengers and one pilot which means it can be used singly, privately and for tours. On board reception receives 130 radio channels and can transmit the Internet. Althought these features may have been foreseeable by aircraft designers, manufacturers and management, the eye opener is the basic factory price for the Piper Matrix of $757,000 also endorsed by the FAA.
A top administrator for the FAA is Robert A. Sturgell originally appointed by President George W. Bush. The national headquarters for Piper Aircraft, Inc., is located in Florida, with the new Matrix to be produced in Georgia.
A forerunner Piper Malibu Meridian was first brought to market in the year 2000, a 2001 model for sale at a price of $1,050,000 is currently advertised by KCAC sales in the mid-west region of the U.S. The Malibu Meridian and the Matrix light jet have attractive compact toy-like exteriors, but definitely a reality item for anybody who can fly. Some Piper aircrafts are of such significant quality and character that they are on display in aircraft museums.
Originally, the Taylor Aircraft received an investment of $400 from William T. Piper in 1929, but he then later bought a newly named company of Piper Aircraft in 1930 for $761 including the assets.
Surveys and instructors have concluded that most people who sign-up for private lessons or choose to fly a private aircraft, or in the case of the Piper Matrix light jet, have done so solely for the enjoyment of flying. Currently, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association sponsors over two-hundred in-person safety seminars each year. For somebody who is seriously interested in private aircraft and light jets, consider attending the 34th Annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In and Convention scheduled from April 8 to 13, 2008 at the Florida Air Museum.
