The first pair I bought was a pair of orange brand name 'crocs' in bright orange on EBay. I bought them for right around 30 dollars including shipping. My shoes got to me in about a week and I was thrilled to try them on. I was impressed with the comfort and bounce I felt as I walked around. The shoes weren't much to look at but, the comfort was priceless. I walked around for a while with my bright orange 'crocs' loving every moment of them. The shoes have a great movable heel strap that can be worn on the front or behind the heel.
The second pair of shoes I bought was the look a like 'crocs'. I bought them at my local Kmart retailer for only $5.00 on sale. The price made them a real steal. The heel strap was attached to the front of the shoe which needed unsnapping. This took a while to unsnap and left a hole in the place where the strap was unsnapped. The shoes were not as comfortable as the Brand Name 'crocs'. These knock off 'crocs' were more of a hard plastic so there was no bounce when you walk. The knock off 'crocs' have smaller air holes in the brand name 'crocs'. The knock off 'crocs' has a non-skid texture inside which makes them uncomfortable until it wears down. I wore a pair of socks with them the first few weeks.
While I was at my local drug store I saw people walking around wearing pins in their Crocs. I saw flags, hearts, flowers and just about every other design. While watching the 'Oprah' show I found out a mother designed the pins. The pins started out as a hobby in a basement turned into a multi million dollar invention for a mother. It sure does amaze me how we can give life lemons and it gives us lemonade.
The knock off 'crocs' have won the vote for me. I prefer the knock off 'crocs' to the brand name 'crocs' after wearing them for a few months. The name brand ones are still more comfortable but, the knock off 'crocs' is safer. A couple of weeks ago I went to stand up and my toe got caught in the hole of the brand name 'crocs'. My toe got bruised up pretty good. The only way I will wear them is with a pair of socks to prevent my toes from getting stuck in the holes.
P. S : This ain't no 'croc'

Post a CommentIf your toes are getting anywhere near the holes you're wearing a pair that is too small. Crocs are meant to be a very loose fit.
