Braun's Bar and Grill: Denver Restaurant Review

Braun's does not come off as a local bar due to the immense size of the place. They actually have over 15,000 sq ft of space for events and for the restaurant itself. However it is located across from the Pepsi Center where events are held constantly making the size of Braun's Bar and Grill necessary. They are also know for the cheap eats and great happy hour. Because of the sheer size and uncramped spaces this is great for a large group or kids to come with. They will occasionally close down or change times because of the events that are planned there, like sports parties and such. They have a huge big screen and many small screen TVs for all the sports fanatics.

They have a wide variety of food from salads and Paninis to Gumbo and Salmon. They have some of the standard food you would find at a bar but most likely you will steer towards the delicious unique smells instead. The prices aren't bad for an special event bar, you can go in there and get out under 10 dollars if you want. However with their options of steak and baked brie it is hard to not spend more money. They also have a great variety of desserts that are delicious. They have a Snickers Pie and Apple Crisp A La Mode just to name two. They Snickers Pie is like biting into a creamier version of a Snickers bar with gooey caramel that is likely to get on your clothes. With their delicious meals they also serve plenty of alcohol. They have beer specials and your standard mixed drinks. They don't have any specific specialties regarding their liquor but the prices are pretty good.

They don't tend to take reservations but as long as it isn't after a game you will get right in without any wait time or problem. Even after a game if you can squeeze into a place at the bar it is yours. They have plenty of parking since they are more in the parking lot of the Pepsi Center, but if there is an event going on you may have to pay up to 10.00 for your spot.

Braun's Bar and Grill also has pool tables and a private area for large groups to hold things like bachelor parties or celebrations for game wins. They also have an outside area perfect for those beautiful Colorado days where you just want a beer and to soak up the sun.

Although it is unlikely you will visit here often for gourmet food and fabulous fare, the food is still good and the ability to drop by after see your favorite event at the Pepsi Center is too good to pass up.
