Bravo Announces New Spate of Shows Featuring Breakout "Bravolebrities"

Bravo TV announced today it has three new shows in development featuring three of its breakout stars. Bethenny Frankel, Christian Siriano and Fabio Viviani have all been tapped to star in their own Bravo reality shows.

Rumors about Frankel's show ran rampant over the summer and there was speculation she would depart "The Real Housewives of New York City," in favor of the new show, which was tentatively being called "Skinny in the City" (a hybrid of Frankel's Skinnygirl brand and "Sex and the City.") "The Real Housewives of New York City" is currently filming and the New York Daily News reported Frankel has been alienated from her cast mates, notably BFF, Jill Zarin and that she has been filming almost all her scenes solo. The Daily News speculated the separate shooting schedule was likely done to tee up Frankel for her own show. While Bravo did not announce what Frankel's new show will be called, the possibility of the show being called "Skinny in the City" raised the ire of the owner of a Web site by the same name. According to Bravo, Frankel's new show will take an "up close and personal look at her career...as she juggles her happy love life, insanely busy schedule and career as a natural foods chef."

The diminutive Christian Siriano, whose penchant for the phrases "hot mess" and "fierce," along with his outrageous designs, made him a "Project Runway" favorite (Siriano was chosen by viewers as "Fan Favorite" and netted a $10,000 check) won the fourth season of the design competition. Siriano went on to have a cameo on ABC's "Ugly Betty," and create designer collections for Payless Shoes and Victoria's Secret, along with a maternity line. The Untitled Christian Siriano Project will follow the young designer in his quest to become the next great American designer. Sirano also has a book headed for shelves in October titled Fierce Style: How To Be Your Most Fabulous Self.

Rounding out the trio of new shows will be "Fabio: A Catered Affair," following "Top Chef: New York" finalist, Fabio Viviani. Like Siriano, Viviani was voted "Fan Favorite," though he didn't take the title of Top Chef. In addition to his culinary prowess, Viviani was noted for his witticisms about being on the show ("I'm 30 years old and I have to sleep on a bunky bed.") "Fabio: A Catered Affair" will document Viviana and his business partner, Jacopo Falleni's attempts to expand their client base and score high-end catering events in the cutthroat L.A. landscape.

No premiere dates were announced for any of the shows.

I'm not a big fan of Bravo but I enjoyed your article. (From another member of the low PV club)

Saw your post in the low pv forum thread. I'm not familiar with these shows since I don't have Bravo. I've heard of some of them though. Hope you get some more views via the forum post!
