Bravo Farms Cheese Recall Expanded Following Contamination Report

Bravo Farms is Including All Cheese Products as Part of Their Recall

Pat Anthony
According to a recent FDA report, Bravo Farms has expanded a recent recall. Bravo Farms had recalled Dutch Style Gouda cheese which was sold at Costco. Now several other cheeses will be added to the list.

The cheese added to the recalled list includes all cheese offered by Bravo Farms. The cheese may contain E. coli. This follows the report of contamination found in the Gouda that was recalled.

The flavors of the recalled cheeses sold by Bravo Farms are Pepper Jack, Tulare Cannonball and various cheddar flavors. Photos are included in the slide show with this article.

Bravo Farms stated the safety of their consumers was top priority and they would be removing the cheeses from the market at this time. Listeria as well as E. coli was discovered during an investigation of the products according to an FDA report. However, no illnesses have been reported to date.

Consumers may return any item that is part of the Bravo Farms cheese recall for a refund. Under no circumstances should consumers eat recalled products of any sort.

Anyone feeling ill after eating a recalled product such as the Bravo Farms cheese should seek medical attention. E. coli can cause serious complications in the very young, frail and pregnant individuals as well as those with impaired immune systems.

Bravo Farms was recently awarded Top Cheddar in the United States. Someone at Bravo Farms is available to answer questions. Anyone with questions about the recalled cheese may call Bravo Farms directly at 559-897-4634.
