The Body Shop's Brazil Nut Body Butter is an amazing moisturizer. It is super-long lasting; I swear it lasts longer than 24 hours. It smells absolutely delicious and makes your skin so happy. My body just drinks it up! It is creamy, emollient, thick, non-greasy, everything you want in a body butter. I'm not the only one who thinks so, either. This body butter is award winning. It was voted "Best Body Product" by Marie Claire-Australia; "Top Body Moisturizer" by Child Magazine-United States; and "Best Body Lotion" by Fashion Magazine-Canada. See, people around the world love it, and you will, too!
It's a bit pricey at $17.00 for a 6.9oz recyclable plastic tub or you can get two mini 1.75oz tubs for $10, but well worth it in my opinion. It's filled with great ingredients like: Brazil nut oil, Shea butter and cocoa butter...very moisturizing! The downside is that it's not 100% all-natural and The Body Shop really needs to find replacements for the few nasties that it does contain, like: EDTA, parabens and fragrance. As someone who tries to live her life free of exposure to chemicals, parabens, and preservatives, these ingredients trouble me. I haven't been able to find a suitable all-natural product that comes close to doing for my skin what this product does, so for now, I'll just ignore the label and slather it on, but I'll be watching for The Body Shop to make those improvements.
Now for the highlights! One is that the brazil nut oil and the shea butter are Community Trade Ingredients. Community Trade is The Body Shop's Fair Trade program. They provide a fair wage to suppliers in marginalized communities worldwide in return for top-quality natural ingredients. The brazil nut oil in this product comes from the Amazon Region and the shea butter comes from Ghana.

The Body Shop carries several body butter flavors if Brazil Nut isn't your favorite. They carry: Pink Grapefruit; Coconut; Satsuma; Shea; Vitamin E; Mango; Brazil Nut; Cocoa Butter; Olive; Strawberry; Hemp; Papaya; Passion Fruit; Almond; and Grape seed.
You can buy The Body Shop's Brazil Nut Body Butter, or any of the other butters, in The Body Shop stores worldwide, online or through their at home affiliate program.
Now, if they would only open up a Body Shop in my neck of the woods so I could stop paying those shipping charges and begging my mom to buy it and send it to me!
Try some Brazil Nut Body Butter, you won't be sorry!
