Breadmaker Cinnamon Bread

Cinnamon bread is simple to bake in any breadmaker. There is nothing like that cinnamon smell first thing in the morning. Just set your breadmaker on the timer and you can wake up to cinnamon bread for breakfast. Have it with your coffee or tea, plain as is or shmear lightly with cream cheese. I don't like to add anything to the bread, it's too good on it's own, and I don't want to take away from the delicious cinnamon flavor. Your kids will love this bread, sometimes it makes up the bulk of my daughter's school lunch and her friends are jealous. My friends love when I give them a loaf, no one can resist the sweet cinnamon taste of this wonderful bread. This cinnamon bread is a hearty, dense, flavorful bread, nothing like store bought,.

The recipe below is for a one pound loaf so double it for a two lb. loaf. I have an excellent Zojurishi small 1lb breadmaker so I made up this recipe for my breadmaker. It's easy to double the recipe so go ahead and make it for your family and friends. Your breadmaker should come with a measuring cup that measure 8ths of a cup. If not then just put water in to about 1/3 inch from the top of the cup.

Breadmaker Cinnamon Bread

Recipe

6/8 th's of a cup of water
1tablespoon honey
1-2 tablespoon of sugar depending on how sweet you like the bread.
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups plus 1tablespoon of bread flour
1 teaspoon of dried yeast.

Add all of the ingredients in descending order to your breadmaker. Set for soft bread which should take about 3 hours total. Don't set for quick bread, just regular soft bread. If you want the cinnamon bread to be fresh and warm when you wake, set the timer to have the bread finish baking at the time you wake. Unlike many other breads, cinnamon bread tastes delicious warm, it doesn't need to sit out to cool. This cinnamon bread is sweet but not to the point of tasting like cake. The honey adds more flavor than sugar alone but if you find yourself out of honey and want to bake the bread now, then replace the honey with sugar. It will still be delicious.

Cinnamon bread makes a nice gift for your family and friends. Bring a loaf to you holiday gathering and add something special to the meal. Put the cinnamon bread in the oven on a very low setting for a few minutes, just to warm it, and enjoy.

You're right, it looks like AC did not put my edited article up. It's 1.5 tsp of cinammon.

...am I missing something? I don't see cinnamon listed in the ingredients anywhere.
