Adults should definitely avoid those sugary breakfast items, such as high sugar cereals and pastries, which have been shown to reduce your mental capacity and raise your blood sugar levels, women should never eat foods which cause a rapid rise and fall of our blood sugar. If you must have those breakfast favorites, such as pancakes and waffles, choose instead fresh fruit packed in unsweetened juice as a topping. Staying away from the jams, jellies and syrups. Also not recommended, processed breakfast meats, like sausage and bacon, which are rich in saturated fats and damaging to the heart. A healthy breakfast should contain a bowl of wholegrain cereal or egg, milk and a serving of juice. Breakfast definitely is the most important meal of the day, so skipping it is not the answer when it comes to our schedules or our waistlines. A healthy breakfast is essential in refueling and recharging our bodies.Some wonderful breakfast ideas for a healthy breakfast, are toast with cheese and a slice of tomato. Again, the nutritional value of wholegrain cereals and juice cannot be stressed enough. Eggs are an excellent choice for an occasional high protein, low fat healthy breakfast. Add scrambled eggs to refried beans for a delicious healthy breakfast idea, just don't forget the slice of wholegrain toast and juice, to meet all the components of a healthy breakfast.A delicious healthy breakfast is an essential way to begin our day, to enable our bodies to function at a higher level, mentally and physically. The components of a healthy breakfast include carbohydrates, protein and a small amount of fats. A poached egg on whole wheat toast with a glass of juice, refried beans with eggs on a wholegrain tortilla and an orange, oatmeal with fresh fruit on top and a small protein shake. And yes, I am an avid supporter of the protein shake., not only is it low in fat and calories, its loaded with protein and as an added bonus, gives us that chocolate fix a lot of us crave. So I guess it must be true what my mama told me many times, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And since I'm really not one of those who sticks with the traditional, I really don't like cereal, and eggs are not my favorite either. But with a little research and creativeness I've found tons of new, healthy and delicious healthy recipes to try for myself and my family.
