Breakfast in Phillipsburg, NJ - Review of The South Stockton Station Restaurant

I have always seen The South Stockton Station Restaurant along my journeys walking through town. I pass by it almost everyday but never actually ate there until this morning. I have eaten at many places in town and I have no reason for not eating here before.

A friend of ours had been talking about this restaurant for quite some time and he knows good food. He invited us to breakfast this morning at The South Stockton Station Restaurant and we could not say no. After this morning's meal, I could not believe that I had never eaten here before. Their meals are very reasonably priced and the food was excellent. I had eggs, toast, hashbrowns and sausage which cost $4.95. That is cheaper then most places in town for breakfast, and about the same price as a couple other places. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The staff knew some of the customers in there as they are regulars which is usually a sign of a good place when there are people who frequently come back.

The South Stockton Station Restaurant is a small diner located at 435 South Main Street. It is on the corner of South Main Street and Stockton Street. This is a convenient location for visitors to our town as it is a few blocks from the places that people from out of town come to see. If you are coming to Phillipsburg, New Jersey to see one of the lawyers, visit the Delaware River or take a ride on our lovely steam train, I highly recommend going up South Main Street a few blocks more to have a wonderful breakfast or lunch. It is a pleasant environment with smiling faces and great food. Saturday nights they have a buffet from 4-8. I have not tried the buffet yet but I heard that it is a nice big buffet, I will be trying the buffet next. I was very impressed with the little town diner and will be making this my new favorite place for breakfast in town.
