Breaking Dawn - Did it Satisfy You?

With all the heavy anticipation that Breaking Dawn elicited because of the popularity of the Twilight Series did it live up to its promise? Breaking Dawn has only been in bookstores since August 2nd and yet there are so many fans out there that have purchased and read the book already. There are spoilers here so don't go any further if you have not read the book! You know it is best to go read it then come back.

With most series the hype usually can grow bigger than the book and eventually once the book is out on stands and everyone has their copy they are disappointed at the actually story line. However I believe Breaking Dawn did not let most Edward and Bella fans down! Not only did we get our wedding and sexual innuendo between the two soul mates, but Jacob fans cannot be too angry either. How better to keep Jacob in the picture but to make him true family.

When I first started the story it was so bright and cheerful even ion the normal vexed Bella style that I was worried the book may be mediocre in its ability to bring a close or not even that but more a resolution to so many of the issues. However the story just grew upon itself and layered slowly till the complexity that all Twilight fans love is there but also the ending that we all hoped for times ten.

For true Edward fans like myself we were also finally set free of the whole Bella, Jacob, Edward love triangle issues. Finally Bella can focus directly on Edward and of course her little one! As far as the story goes I cannot believe how well Stephenie Meyer put it together and created a believable story and also treated each character we had fallen for with compassion and really made sure no one was shorted in the end.

Breaking Dawn was not a disappointment nor a waste like so many other series follow ups instead it truly gave the story a place to go if the author so chooses and a place to end peacefully for all the fans if that is the path. Bella, Edward, and Jacob if real I don't think could have even imagined a better life for any of them.
