John Travolta and Wife Kelly Preston Are Expecting a Son, but John Has Made Other News Lately, Including Dropping Extortion Charges

John Travolta is hot in the news at the moment for several reasons, one of which is breaking news, according to TMZ, as Travolta's alleged blackmailers case has been dropped. The two alleged extortionists, Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater will now not be facing a second trial for their alleged attempt to blackmail Travolta over an ambulance waiver following the tragic death of his son Jett.

Travolta claimed both of them attempted to blackmail him shortly after Jett's death, seeking millions of dollars to remain hush over an ambulance waiver. The famous star decided he wasn't going to pay a penny, instead working with law enforcement and through the court system to bring them to justice. But that's all changed for some unknown reason and as of Labor Day, John Travolta's case of extortion has been officially dropped, according to TMZ.

TMZ further states that a plea bargain was supposedly in the works mere weeks earlier, but it appears that this time a plea bargain might not even have been on the table, with the case possibly being dropped outright by Travolta. But this isn't the only news making the rounds for Travolta, as Gather.com has been reporting derogatory news about the star today as well, alleging he has been an active participant in some same-sex spa activity as well.

Gee! The superstars lose their way so easily. Could it be because their eye is not on the right prize? Good article Radell :)
