BREAKING: Kyron Horman Case Arrest Likely, Soon

Law enforcement is readying to make an arrest in the missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman case, according to Fox News. But before they do, they have returned to Kyron's Skyline Elementary School for one last undisclosed reason.

"Several persons that have been interviewed by detectives are coming out of those interviews indicating that the investigators are telling them that right now they have probable cause to arrest Terri Horman," according to retired Multnomah County sheriff's Capt. Bruce McCain on July 26.

Potential Arrest of Terri Horman Contingent Now on DA

The potential arrest, according to McCain and Fox, would be contingent upon the DA believing he can take the case to trial and secure a conviction against Kyron's step-mother Terri Horman, who is the last known person to be seen with Kyron Horman at Skyline Elementary School in Portland on June 4, 2010.

Law enforcement has the ability to arrest Kyron's stepmother right now with probably cause for both his disappearance as well as the murder-for-hire attempt against Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, per McCain. And law enforcement appears ready to do so just as soon as the DA gives them a thumbs up.

The case, which continues to burden many over the inability of law enforcement to locate the young child, has also sparked outrage that the most likely suspect has remained at large for almost two months in spite of so many disclosures pointing towards her questionable behavior throughout the case.

Kyron Horman: Will He Ever Be Found?

At one point, FBI issued a BOLO in Virginia regarding Kyron due to an alleged sighting of the missing 7-year-old boy. The sighting of a young male fitting Kyron's description provoked hope that was soon extinguished, as the child was determined not to be Kyron after all.

That sighting of Kyron Horman, although false, just increased the attention to the case already making national headlines. In spite of the failed lead and raising of false hope, the FBI is to be commended for pursuing all alleged sightings of Kyron Horman, as well as other missing children. One day such a sighting could produce a missing child.

After the sighting, more disclosures surfaced regarding Kyron's step mother Terri Horman and a Michael Cook, the former high school chum of Kyron's father Kaine. The text messages between Terri Horman and Michael Cook have provoked much internet conjecture and increased the call for the investigation to step up its pace.

But cases aren't tried successfully on circumstantial evidence in a court of law, leaving law enforcement without probable cause--until now, apparently. If the district attorney is in agreement with information gleaned recently from the investigation--and its ability to guarantee a conviction--it is likely an arrest will be made with haste.
