Kyron Horman is Still Missing and His Step Mom is Accused in a Murder-for-Hire Plot Against His Father Kaine
Murder-for-hire plot in Kyron Horman case
A murder-for-hire plot has been revealed by a former landscaper who worked for the family of Kaine Horman and Teri Moulton. The landscaper alleges that Terri attempted to get him to kill her husband for an undisclosed large sum of money.
Kyron Horman, the 7-year-old Oregon boy still missing and last seen with his step mother Terri Moulton, was not the murder-for-hire target, according to the former landscaper; Kyron's father Kaine Horman was. This, of course, makes the disappearance of the young boy even more disturbing.
Terri Moulton allegedly sought to have her husband Kaine Horman murdered approximately six months prior to his son Kyron's disappearance last month, per the unnamed landscaper, reported by Oregon Live.
Motive Not Revealed, Police Remain Quiet on Details
No motive for the reason Moulton sought to do away with Kyron Horman's father, her spouse and the father of her baby daughter was revealed. The Portland Sheriff's office is not commenting on the recent development in the ongoing investigation, as per general police protocol, but the following statement was issued by the Sheriff's office by their spokesperson Lt. Mary Lindstrand:
"There will be no comment from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office regarding the information reported in the July 4, 2010, Oregonian. The information released in the Oregonian article did NOT come from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. This is an ongoing investigation."
Kyron Horman remains missing and his father Kaine Horman, along with Kyle's baby sister, left the family home recently in a turn of events that prompted much speculation in the media. Kaine got a restraining order against his wife Terri and was awarded custody of their baby daughter. Terri Moulton, however, remains free and is not named as a suspect in the disappearance of her step son Kyron Horman.
