Breaking News: 6.9 Quake Strikes Baja California, Mexico

At about 4:00 PM PST, Fox News' Adam Housley is reporting a 6.9 earthquake striking near southern California, in Baja California, Mexico, to be exact.

Reuters is also reporting the same magnitude quake reporting at 3:40 PM PST in the same location. The quake was strong enough to be felt in downtown LA.

This is a breaking news story still developing.

    We've been seeing some unusually strong hurricanes in various parts of the world over the past year and now we're seeing some real strong earthquakes.

    We were at a friends house for dinner in Covina when it hit. There was a light initial jolt and then it just rolled for about 45 seconds. Kinda felt like being on a boat in the ocean. Hanging lights in the kitchen were swaying back and forth.
