"The other day, one of the saddest moments in Barbara's career was when Rosie hit her about what do you think about him, and she was sort of caught off guard, and she was given a line to read, and she looks down and says 'that poor pathetic man.' It was sad. To me it was sad to watch, and it was about me!"
It is curious that Trump would be surprised by Walters' remarks. In the now famous January 9, 2007 letter that he sent to Rosie O'Donnell, Trump sold The Wawa out- big time.
"Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior," reads Trump's letter to O'Donnell. "She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it. She very much wanted me to go on the show as soon as she got back so that she could 'patch things up' (I said no). To be exact, she said that "working with her is like living in hell" and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and 'don't worry, she won't be here for long.' Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it. Perhaps that's why her initial statement was so mild!"
Apparently, not satisfied with limiting his tattling to one occurrence, Trump's letter continues. "In another incident, when I saw her eating at Le Cirque about two months ago, and asked how "Rosie was doing", she sarcastically rolled her eyes and said 'Donald, do you have to ruin my meal.'"
Finishing in a postscript in which he calls O'Donnell "self destructive," Trump recommends that she "work on this" for her "own good."
I know you are, but what am I?
Shocked by Walters' words on The View, Trump continued telling tales out of school this morning during his appearance on the popular Imus in the Morning radio show.
"She never said, 'let's have this conversation in confidence,'" Trump complained. "And if she would have said that I would have been honored to do that. But she didn't say that, she called me, and I related the call to people.
"And by the way everybody agrees with me," he insists. So there.
"But Barbara's never denied my letter," Trump went on. "She's never said 'oh, I never made those statements.' The other day, when they went on, I, after that letter went out, fully expected that they were going to go over my letter, and that Barbara was going to try to refute it. But she can't refute it, because she knows that's what took place, and she probably knows that I have irrefutable proof."
Stay tuned. This story is scheduled for further developments any minute, now.

Post a CommentI have an article on Rosie and the Donald with Britney and Paris that has been paid for but not published. Hopefully, AC legal will bite the bullet and let it out. Think of Rosie and The Donald in Joe Boxer low rise winking boxers in a boxing ring.
Though I'm ashamed to it, I've been following this whole mess. It is quite childish on both sides, though I have a very difficult time even stomaching the site of and the sound of Rosie O'Donnell. It will be interesting still to see how it all ends. Good reporting from the playground!
