Breaking News - Giant Snake Spotted Off Coast of California, USA

Breaking News - Recently spotted in Borneo, a 100 feet long snake has been spotted on the California coast.

At least this is what one anonymous photographer says he has photographed while out for a morning stroll.

There are obvious similarities between the snake spotted in Borneo and the beast spotted in an unnamed location along a picturesque remote part of the Californian coastline.

The amateur photographer says he was out in the early hours of the morning walking his goat, when the serpent appeared in the sea.

He said: "I couldn't believe it; I'd seen the images on the internet of the snake over in Borneo but for it too surface nearer to home was truly remarkable."

I think the picture speaks for itself (suspiciously) showing the 100 feet long monster not only likes the tropical fresh water routes, but seemingly has adopted a liking for salt water too.

The anonymous snapper who emailed me with the images also said: "The snake seemed to just gracefully glide through the massive currents out there at sea. It made the surf look easy.

"I have never seen anything like it; I knew something was wrong when the seagulls started to make a lot of noise and fuss.

"Perhaps the snake has a taste for seagulls or maybe he just likes the Californian sunshine; who knows?"

The snaps are surely going to generate a lot of interest from people who like 'fortean' news, such as the Loch Ness Monster, The Yeti and Bigfoot to name a few.

The images of the Borneo giant snake were released last week and have had a huge amount of interest around the world. These had originally been shown in an article in LiveScience.com's website.

Those images had also been taken by an anonymous photographer who claimed to be surveying flood waters in a helicopter.

The beast is also generating huge concern in Borneo with locals worried that the legendary Nebeu surfacing. The legend of Nebeu is one that dates back many centuries and tells stories of a giant serpent with several heads that terrorizes locals in Borneo.

I'm not convinced that these stories of the recent giant snake encounters are true. For me I'd really need to see much better evidence of such reptiles.

If someone was to have conclusive video evidence then maybe I would be a little more inclined to take a different view.

Sadly these images are just a little suspicious looking in there quality.
