Democrats, Republicans, communists and independents are all parties who believe in certain fundamental ideals of how society and the government responsible for said society should be structured. Each has its own flaws and strong points. Each is essentially the same. If you strip the onion layers back of our current political system it becomes obvious that the parties and their battles against one and another are all smoke and mirrors. One party or the other has at one time in history been in favor of just about every topic that is spun as partisan and supported or not supported by each of the various parties. It is a shame that in fact many people even in the chaotic world we live in will vote for someone merrily because of the party they are affiliated with. I could go into so many details that this article let alone an encyclopedia would not be enough to cover the facts of what I am saying.

What am I saying you ask? I am saying that no matter whom you vote for, or what parties they are affiliated with they are going to be influenced by others of their party or another party. They are going to make decisions based on recommendations of their cabinet and the heads of the many alphabet arms of government. There are no coincidences things happen rather by fate or by manipulation. People you are caught up with the politicians, we choose arguing and debating over more silly and inconsequential topics that the real issues at hand do not get dealt with. Then because the issues continue not to be dealt with they become a big problem. At that time the bickering and finger pointing continue and the issues still do not get dealt with or are dealt with hastily and carelessly. How many people are registered to vote?

Get registered now if you are not. Pay attention to the charade known as politics and be sure to vote. We the people are responsible for the actions of our lawmakers and other branches of government. We have given them the power they asked for, and the misguided and horrible misuse of said power we are not made aware. Our country at its core is great. We just have to be involved and correct the mistakes we have allowed to be made. We have to take care of our own country and its people before we focus on the needs of the world. It is like a parent who does not know or is not capable of taking care of their own child, yet turns and forces other parents to take care of their children. We are suffering from the mistakes of our parents decisions and they suffered from the mistakes of their parents and so on. I say we stop this cycle and raise our children with the sense of responsibility not only for their actions but those of our country.

Our society has become a fairy tale and we are all guilty in one way or another of being snared in the trap of entertainment; Sports, Movies, News, Television, books, fashion and etc.... We in general worry about such superficial nonsense that we are ignorant to the real issues at hand. We blindly follow and listen to the networks news stories and the fear and lies spread by them and people of power. Since the September 11^th 2001 attacks our blind fear controlled decisions have only became worse. We have practically given away our rights and freedoms in the belief that we would be safer.

We went to war with countries that never were connected with such attacks on our country. We continue to stay in Iraq when clearly the people of Iraq do not want us there. We started the war on terror, has the world become safer since it began? Has Iraq become a better society since our takeover of its government? Our actions of preemption have caused more disgust towards our country not only from the third world societies but the western societies such as France.

China has been lending or more appropriately buying large amounts of United States Company's debt. Go and see how much U.S. soil is owned by the Chinese. The FDIC and its affiliates have closed and forced large banking institutions that have or were in the imminent danger of failure to be closed and purchased by other banks for less than pennies on the dollar. The government wants us taxpayers to give $700 billion to failing Wall Street companies that have already failed us and lost our money. I think not! What is the old saying? "Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice and shame on me".

Obama or McCain which should I vote for? Well let me see I am a democrat so I have to vote for Obama. Wait no I am a Republican so I have to vote for McCain. Both statements are wrong. I am a United States citizen and am responsible for deciding who should be put into the most powerful position of our government. Republican, Democrat what is that? Obama has quite a few views I agree with and so does McCain. McCain seems to fit the bait and switch politician stereotype. He changes his mind to much and puts his foot in his mouth enough as well. In the debate he looked like he wanted to physically harm Obama in a few instances. Hmm if he can get angry over a debate I would hate to see how he would react to the anti American talk of other countries. Would he go and beat them up for hurting his feelings or pointing out his flaws? Obama is refreshing and speaks of major change in our government which everyone I believe agrees is necessary.

Obama lacks a large amount of experience but does have enough smarts and experience to learn the ropes pretty quickly. Another thing I think is ridiculous is the ads that come out. McCain like almost every other politician running for office has ads that put down Obama for one thing or another. Obama I have yet to see do this in return. Being level headed prevails. If you have to push someone down whether falsely or not to make yourself look better then what is it you yourself are hiding or lacking that you are trying to divert attention from. It is like child rearing positive reinforcement is far superior to negative reinforcement, praising good behavior versus berating bad behavior. Children need attention and it is better to reward the positive attempts to get attention, then the negative ones. Good luck people and take these truths to heart cause you can make a difference.
