According to the USGS, a massive, 7.8 magnitude earthquake has struck Northern Sumatra, Indonesia on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 22:15:02 UTC.

    I have been checking the earthquake map every day since the big Baja quake ~ that entire area is a mess ~ mostly small 1 point. Indonesia seems to get hit with large ones quite often.
