The power of Twitter is incredible. A search for #iranelection blows every news media outlet away. Check out the twitpics.

Tweets are coming in so fast that the page has to be refreshed every few minutes. No one knows how long the Tweets will last. The Iran government is jamming communications. But for now, we know the Iran election protests continue on Sunday.

What is amazing is that none of the major networks seem to be aware of this information. Continually looking for their reports for the past 24 hours and finding none, makes it seems as if they are asleep at the wheel. As Iran election protests continue, Iran history continues in the form of reports from the street thorough social networking.

YouTube has continued downloading videos Sunday as well. It is unclear at this time if the videos were shot Sunday. Requests for translations continue.

One can't help but wonder what the response in the West will be? Do we sit by the sidelines and watch as a country fights for it's freedom? Only time will tell what is going to take place but for right now, the Iran election protests continue, social networking is the place to find out what's happening and the world watches as brave people continue to defy their government.
