Breast Implants Identify Mutilated Body - Jasmine Fiore Found Dead

Who knew that breast implants would have critical use other than superficial beauty enhancement? It's amazing and completely great that the act of 'getting away' with a crime is becoming more and more difficult for criminals. We were impressed with the advent of DNA-based identity testing which was first used in a homicidal case in 1986 when the killer of two teenage girls was identified by his blood type. However the proficiency of DNA as a problem solving tool is largely dependent on the collection of specimens from both killer and victim. What happens when the victim is found but doesn't have readily visible identification? And what happens when DNA fingerprinting is deterred because the victim is missing all fingertips and teeth as well? How do you identify the killer when you are unable to identify the victim?

This is what happened in the recent case of 28 year old Jasmine Fiore whose remains were found on August 15, 2009 in a blood-soaked suitcase with her fingertips and teeth missing. Fiore who was a swimsuit model and actress was married to Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a reality TV contestant that appeared on VHI's "Megan Wants a Millionaire" and "I Love Money." On August 23rd Jenkins was also found dead when his body was discovered in his motel room, hanging from the ceiling. Authorities allege that Jenkins committed suicide, but not before he led them on a wild goose chase with the intention of crossing the American-Canadian border.

It's reported that Jenkins and Fiore had frequent domestic fights that is believed to be a result of jealousy of her relationship with other men. The couple had met in a casino in Las Vegas and tied the knot two days later. The day Jasmine went missing, both she and Ryan had checked into a hotel in San Diego with the intention of attending a fundraising event. Fiore was never seen alive after that.

Ryan was however seen days after; having filed a missing report for his wife, Ryan became a suspect in the case on August 19th the same day Fiore's car was found abandoned in a parking lot in West Hollywood.

Jasmine Fiore's body was identified by her breast implants when they used the serial number to track her name. No one knows what triggered the fight and ultimate murder, and especially now that Jenkins is dead there will never be any definite inclination of what prompted his vitriolic actions.
