Mother's milk gives a child all essential nutrients and immunity power. But it does not stop here. Breast-feeding also imparts a strong bond between the child and mothers. From day one, the child builds up a bond with his or her mother through the milk that he gets from her.

There is no doubt that breast-feeding will bring the mother and the child much closer. Many studies have shown that a child who gets breast milk is very emotionally bonded to the mother than those who are not nursed.

While breast-feeding, the child has a skin-to-skin contact with the mother, which helps in building a strong bond or intimacy. A breast fed child will have greater attachment to his mother and this helps in developing a greater relation towards all family members.

It is not only that the babes build up a cordial relation with mother, but the mothers who feed their babes will also have a greater relation towards their kids. This warm and cordial relation with their babes helps them to build up the child's character.

It has also been seen that breast-feeding women grabs the attention of their children faster than those who do not feed their kids.

Now a day there is a tendency among women to give up breast-feeding and feed their kids with bottled milk. This trend is seen most among women who have jobs. Well, some women also have a misconception that they will lose their beauty if breast-fed. Feeding the infants with bottled milk is not a good practise. If you can breast feed, then do not go for bottled milk. Breast-feeding not only gives your child the essential nutrients and immunity but also builds up a great bond between you and the child.
