Bret Favre Announces Retirement and the Packers Are Rumored to Be Trading for Brady Quinn Not.

There is a possible trade involving the Packers and the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns are looking to avoid a quarterback controversy and the Packers are looking to replace their Hall of Fame quarterback. How true the rumor is, is yet to be seen.

The Packers are rumored to be interested in the services of Brady Quinn. Quinn would begin to fill the popularity vacuum that Favre left and they believe that he has more natural talent then Aaron Rodgers.

The Browns are looking to avoid a quarterback controversy by trading away Brady Quinn for Aaron Rodgers and a 2nd round draft pick. The Browns get an extra pick in the second round and a serviceable backup.

Who knows if this is true or not. Only time would tell.

Aaron Rodgers was drafted 3 years ago to replace Bret Favre when Favre retired.
