Bret Michaels Guitarist Issues Statement; Donald Trump Paints Bleak Picture

As Fans Wait for Word on Bret Michaels Condition, Guitarist Pete Evick Posts Heartfelt Statement

Fans all over the world are patiently waiting for word on Bret Michaels' condition. No new information has been reported but his medical report is expected to be released sometime this week on the rockers website. In the meantime, Bret Michaels band member, guitarist Pete Evick, has issued his own statement on bretmichaels.com.

Pete Evick Talks About Bret Michaels:

In his statement on the musicians website, Evick said those closest to Michaels "are overwhelmed with the amount of love and well wishes he is receiving" and "refuse to offer any information that can be delivered incorrectly."

Fans naturally want to show how much they love Bret and want to wish him a speedy recovery. However, it is important to note that Bret Michaels is a real person with a family who are just as concerned about his current condition, as anyone would be with a family member in such a poor state of health.

Of Bret Michaels, Evick said, "He is full of passion, energy and love. But most of all, he is a survivor. Against the odds of a critical music industry, or battling a crippling disease, over and over again Bret has come out on top and ahead of the game. I personally expect nothing less from him in this situation."

And then there's Donald Trump:

Donald Trump, who is not an official spokesperson for Bret Michaels, has spoken on the rockers condition to Us Magazine, saying the star is in "big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great." The Donald isn't painting a very hopeful picture of Michaels' condition.

It has also been reported by Us Magazine that Trump made the remark that Bret Michaels current health issue is related to the accident he had during the 63rd annual Tony Awards in which a piece of scenery fell and hit Michaels on the head last June.

The cause of bleeding has yet to be determined and Bret Michaels is still in ICU where doctors are monitoring him around the clock.

On a somewhat brighter note - If you are a fan of Bret Michaels like I am, head over to his website now to listen to Wasted Time, a song that will be included in Bret's yet-to-be-released album Custom Built. Pete Evick has put a teaser of the song on Bret Michaels website. The site is currently running slow and may not load right for you. If this happens, keep trying. You won't be disappointed.

If only people would let the poor celebs deal with issues like this with family. Everyone is out to comment and make a fast buck! :( Here's to hoping Bret makes a full recovery!

Mr Thrump should reread Pete's letter. This is a family matter and they will keep his fan updated as they have. Too many people feel like their opinion matters.

From what I understand, all episodes of Celebrity Apprentice have already been taped but the very last one is a live show. Trump said he didn't think Bret would make that last one (the live show). It sounds to me like he still has a good chance of winning, though.

I thought Trump's comments were strange, all things considered. I don't follow CA, but is the elimination live or taped?
