I really don't care, and the only reason I did care last year is because Favre came to the Jets, and being a New Yorker and a Giants fan I found it lightly entertaining and amusing. To watch him completely turn his back on the team that gave him a chance to play at his advanced age is sickening. He should have came back and play for the Jets, but he can't now, they drafted a replacement for him. Now he wants to go to the Vikings, of all teams, just so he can play the Packers twice a year. Go figure, Brett Favre the 39 year old quarterback who wants revenge on his old team. Sure he might get a win over his former team, but at the expense of a 6-10 record for Vikings fans. He needs to retire
The guy has nothing left, I saw flashes of the old Brett Favre last year. Then I saw the old,old Brett Favre in the last half of the season. He looked like my Grampa out there, he's finished, done, he shouldn't be allowed to play anymore. I think the whole shoulder thing is an excuse. The real problem was that his legs wore down towards the end of the season and his feet started to drag, and he couldn't get out of the way of on coming rushers to safe his life. The almost 40 year old grey haired, grey bearded future hall of famer, wore down at the end of games. Watching the Vikings last year, I really don't think they are much better then the Jets. I thought the Jets had a great team last year, until Favre threw the season away. Retire already Brett, your finished, your done. Time is up, time to play golf, time to go home to your family and wife and kids. Time to hang up the cleats like a man, and not cry like a baby about it.
He was noticeably drained and fatigued more and more after games, and on the field. Huffing and puffing, trying to catch his breath. He would wince in agony every time he got up from a big hit and walk around slowly, and he can't take a hit anymore. You don't want this guy on your team Vikings fans. You just don't, coming from a guy who watched Brett Farve play for 16 games last year. I saw a guy who needs to retire, a guy who has no business on an NFL team this year. Even if he was once one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, those days are long behind him. So Minnesota Vikings fans, just say no to Brett Favre and let him know he needs to retire, for good, and never come back.
