Brett Favre's Alleged Text Message Picture Scandal with Jenn Sterger

Nick Meyer
According to Deadspin.com, Brett Favre allegedly tried to "seduce" reporter and Internet celebrity Jenn Sterger with text messages and even explicit pictures of himself.

Favre allegedly tried to use a PR rep from the New York Jets to get together with Sterger, a former Jets game day reporter, and also allegedly sent the pictures to her through his cell phone.

Considering that Favre is married to his wife Deanna, it would obviously be a big story if these allegations were to be true, and likely will be even if they are never proven.

That is a very unfortunate side effect of this whole incident, but at the same time, many who don't like Favre or are fans of opposing teams will probably use this to make jokes at his expense.

Favre is already one of the most heavily scrutinized players in the game and this issue could become huge to the point where it affects the Minnesota Vikings' locker room with even more media nosiness in tandem with the recent Randy Moss trade to Minnesota.

The Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger cell phone pictures/text message scandal will probably be one of those things that Internet bloggers and fans will forever remember...well, at least until the next one breaks, that is.

Is it true? Is it a hoax? Is it something else? Most football fans probably care much more about the games and how their teams are doing but they won't be able to escape talk about this photo and text message scandal for the next couple of weeks even with the Moss addition.

The best thing Favre can do is start throwing it deep to Moss while helping the Vikings win games.

Winning cures everything in sports and Favre knows that as well as just about anyone as he has been around the block a few times.

For now, getting ready for the media circus surrounding the Brett Favre and Jenn Sterger photos and text message scandal regardless of whether it's true or not.
