Brian's Quick Picks for Week 11

Is This the Week the Saints Finally Lose a Game?

Brian Short
Due to time restrictions, Mister B has to make quick picks this week. And I'm not talking about the lottery. A 7 and 7 record last week has me real hot. Thanks Belicheat, your boneheaded 4th and 2 decision cost me a winning week. You Jerk. Was that the worse coaching decision this year or what? Sorry guys, next week I will analyze the match ups more thoroughly like you have been accustomed to for the past month.

Dolphins @ Panthers- Both teams loves to run the ball and with a win can get back into the playoff picture in their respective conferences. I give the edge to Carolina because of the home field and the big play ability of Steve Smith.

The Winner: Carolina

Colts @ Ravens- Ray Rice is the key to victory for the Ravens.

The Winner: The Ravens

Seahawks @ Vikings- Can the Seahawks stop Adrian Peterson? The Seahawks have not been good on the road this year.

The Winner: The Vikings

Saints @ Buccaneers- This is a trap game for the Saints with New England coming up in a big Monday game next week. Tampa Bay needs to run the ball to take pressure off its young quarterback.

The Winner: The Bucs by a game winning field goal.

Falcons @ N.Y. Giants- The Falcons are not a good home team. If the Giants can't get back on track in this game, it could be a long season for the g-men.

The Winner: G-men

Redskins @ Cowboys- This game will be closer than expected. The Redskins are actually pretty decent on defense. The Cowboys need to get Austin Miles involved in the offense.

The Winner: The Boys

Steelers @ Chiefs- Hide the kids, this game could get really ugly. Steelers will look to flex their muscles against a bad Chiefs squad.

The Winner: Steelers in a rout.

Bills @ Jaguars- I have a funny feeling about this game. I'm not sold on the Jags. They get a big win, and then they lose games they should win. I think the Bills are primed for an upset.

The Winner: The Bills in overtime 26-20.

Browns @ Lions- Lions fans, go crazy, go crazy because you're about to get win number two.

The Winner: See the comment above.

49ers @ Packers- This is the first match upAlex Smith versus Aaron Rodgers. (Both qbs were selected in the 05 draft) You may remember when scouts were wondering who the better player was coming out of college. I think the win over the Cowboys gave the Pack a much need shot in the arm.

The Winner: The Packers in a close victory.

Cardinals @ Rams- I expect Rams fans to give Kurt Warner a standing ovation for all the great moments he helped created for that franchise.

The Winner: The Cards in a close victory.

Bengals @ Raiders- I think I can speak for most Raiders fans when I say this. What took the silver and black so long to bench JaMarcus Russell? Enough said.

The Winner: The Bengals

Chargers @ Broncos- Wow I did not think the Broncos were going to choke away their division lead. This is why we should take a wait and see approach when it comes to anointing the next great team. Chargers must watch Eddie Royal in the return game; he killed their special teams' coverage in the last match up.

The Winner: San Diego Super Chargers

Jets @ Patriots- Let's see here. The Jets beat the Pats in the first match up and they were talking smack. Pats lose a close game in which they dominated the Colts on Sunday Night Football. Yup, I smell a blowout. I won't be surprised if Belicheat and Brady drop a 50 spot on the Jets, they are that mad.

The Winner: The Pats

Eagles @ Bears- If this were college football, this game would be called the Jack in the Box Underachiever bowl. Both teams are performing way below expectations. Cutler has struggled in primetime games. Let me put this out there Jay Cutler is the new age Jeff George. Great arm, great stats, arrogant, bad attitude, losing record as a staring quarterback. The Eagles will bring the blitz. Oh yeah, Jason Whitlock of Fox Sports.com, you are moron. The Eagles are not going to the Super Bowl. Okay, I feel better now.

The Winner: The Eagles in a close victory.

Titans @ Texans- If the Texans slow down Chris Johnson, they win. If they don't they will lose. Sometimes it's that simple.

The Winner: The Texans

Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you next week for week 12.
