Bridal Shower Poems

Everyone who has been to a bridal shower either remembers it as fun or something they could have skipped. Using some of the poems below to spice up the invite. Make your shower a shower to remember not only for the bride but for the guests as well.

Invitations:
Photo cards make great invites. Using a picture of the engaged couple the following can be added as text:

_____ met _____ and fell in love and have set their wedding date.
So come and join us for some fun
We're throwing her a shower before they are one.

On ___day, ____ date, at the ___ location of the shower.

Include the information on the card and mail away to the guests. Each guest will then have a picture of the new couple before the big day.

For the more established couple:

The bride and groom are sailing away.
Things are expensive, let's help them pay.
We are throwing a bash.
No gifts please, just bring cash.

The Recipe invites.

Sugar and spice, every thing nice
Is what (bride's name) means to us.
So let's show (groom's name) how nice we are too.
Include a special recipe using sugar or spice
To help (bride's name) to start her new life.
