Bridge School Collection Volume 4

Released exclusively to ITunes on November 24, 2009 the album The Bridge School Collection Volume 4 features 22 live performances from some of music's major artists and bands who have contributed to the 2009 Bridge School concert benefiting children with severe physical impairments and challenging communication needs. Artists on this album include John Mayer, Josh Groban, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Norah Jones just to name a few.

On this live, acoustic-recorded album, 12 artists and bands have joined to lend their vocals and talent to help make this event a major success for the school. Featured tracks on the album include Jerry Lee Lewis' "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", My Morning Jacket's "Just One Thing", and a duet by Neil Young and Josh Groban on "Harvest Moon". Previous albums include tracks from artists such as Alanis Morrissette, Blues Traveler, John Lee Hooker, and Green Day.

Since 1986, Neil and Pegi Young have hosted this annual event in Mountain View, California at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. Neil Young makes it a personal obligation to perform every year at the Benefit Concert held annually in October. The Bridge School is a non-profit organization which creates realistic approaches to education and communication. Through the outreach of friends the community, the Bridge School continues to thrive towards excellence and reaching the most rewarding goals. Proceeds from the sales of The Bridge School Collection Vol. 4 help to fund augmentative and alternative communication systems and assistive technology for students.
