Another added factor to keep the child's room bright, would be to dress the room with light colored window coverings; this will also ensure brightness. Keep the patterns simple and pleasant. Maybe a nice sheer curtain will suffice. Remember to keep the colors in a light tone-maybe off-white, or eggshell color. Having a window covering in a bright colored, sheer pattern and/or fabric also allows the sun to shine in on the room. You can shop for great bargains when shopping for curtains and paint.
Now, when night falls, you'll need an additional way to keep the room bright for your children. This can be accomplished by adding a nite-lite. These can be not only helpful with lighting, but they are safe and can add a little fun and style to your child's room! This little helper goes great in any room; it only gives a small illuminous glow, instead of an overhead, arial light. You just pop one in the socket nearest the door, or in any other place suitable for you and your child, and let the spooky times fly out the window!
You can find a nite-lite for your child's room at any Target store, and for less than $20.
The safety point of having a nite-lite in your child's room, is that it not only helps with the lighting, but this little device also helps cover the unused sockets and/or outlets in your child's room; creating a haven for safety. And let's not go crazy over all the great designs and shapes of different nite-lites that are available. You can get the child's favorite cartoon character, or their favorite hobby, sport or fashion nite-lite to accent their room décor. It looks great and it's safe-who could ask for more?..!
But, if you would like something else other than funny characters or cute, child-like designs, you can also apply an average nite-lite with a socket-cover, included. This way, you'll remain with the bright ideas and the safety for your child-all at once; with this choice, you can also get a nite-lite with auto-sensory-isn't that neat; you have the safety, and the cost-saving all in one item! Great!
Now, when it comes to keeping your child's room fun, bright and safe-there's a cost-saving way to do it, and in the long run, you'll be saving money on your energy bills as well.
