If your career would often require you to travel to different places in the country, you should look into the possibility of bring your baby along during your trips. If your spouse is available to accompany you during these trips, you should bring your spouse and your baby along. However, if you were not sure whether your colleagues or your office policies would allow you to share your hotel room with members of your family, you should make it a point to inform them that you are bringing along your spouse and you baby with you on your trip and that you are willing to pay for whatever extra charges may have on your hotel accommodations. It is always a good idea to set the records straight with your company so that nobody will accuse you of taking advantage of your position.
Traveling with your baby on the plane
If you are traveling with your baby, try to book a flight during the non-peak hours. If you book your trip during non-peak hours you will be able to get a vacant seat where your baby can sleep. Furthermore, when you go on the non-peak hour trip, the lines would be shorted so you would not have to spend a long time on the line waiting for your turn.
When traveling with your baby. You should put some of his or her things in a small bag, which you can carry with you in the plane. Put some diapers, wipes, medicines and other important things in the small bag so that you can have easy access to them whenever you need them. When on the place, locate the lavatory immediately and if possible you should ask the airline attendant to transfer you to a seat near the lavatory just in case you will need to change the diapers of your baby during the trip.

Post a CommentReally, not a helpful article and poorly written. Assumes that men never bring their babies on work trips and that women are forced to go back to work.
Besides that, this is not solid information. I'm looking for information on finding childcare when on the road, not to pack some snacks.
