Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars: Could Sarah Palin Bring Tea Party to DWTS?

Will Sarah Palin Bring Politics to Dance?

Meg G.
Bristol Palin is on Dancing with the Stars, and many are wondering about her mother, Sarah Palin. Of course the entire Palin family didn't become famous until Sarah Palin joined John McCain's ticket during the 2008 presidential elections. Since then, Sarah and her eldest daughter have been thrust into popularity.

Not that they are unwilling subjects. Sarah and Bristol seem to share a love of the limelight. The Dancing with the Stars appearance just further illustrates that. Many want to know if Sarah Palin will show up and cheer her daughter Bristol on, and there have been no official reports that either confirm or deny any appearance by the former Alaskan governor.

Still yet, people have asked Bristol and she is said to get annoyed by the constant inquiries. I guess I would too, if I were her - but she has to understand where we are coming from.

Sarah Palin looks for every opportunity to give her message, and Dancing with the Stars would give her the perfect audience. Millions tune in each and every week to see these stars try to learn ballroom dancing. People are a bit off-guard and relaxed - ready for some entertainment. Wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity to bring the Tea Party message?

Of course, there will be those who are blatantly against any political agenda during such a frivolous show. However, if you didn't expect a political message then you shouldn't cast someone on the show who has links to one of the most controversial and highest profile political figures.

Despite the controversy that Bristol Palin may bring to the show, I don't expect her to stay in the cast for too long. I think she will be taken out after the first couple of eliminations. However, given her athletic background I could be entirely offbase here. I just see some other candidates that appear much, much stronger than her.

Furthermore, like Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin has a lot of people that just don't like her. These people will start the "Did Bristol Palin Get Kicked Off Dancing with the Stars?" searches immediately after the show. Until she's gone, these people won't rest.

Don't forget to tune into the Season Premiere of Dancing with the Stars season 11, which airs on September 20th (a week from Monday!!) In addition, if you missed the cast listing you can find that here.

terri i have watched dancing wih the stars for a very long time and would hate it if i have to quit watching it because it became POLITICAL!!! If Bristol wins i will NEVER WATCH DANCING WITH THE STARS AGAIN! Not to mention she isn't a star anyway! She is just a politicions daughter! That doesn't qualify a STAR!!!!!!

I hope the Sarah Palin fans keep politics out of this show and don't mass vote for Bristol if she doesn't deserve it or complain if she's voted off. The thought of wacked out politicly motivated conservative viewers invading this show is frightening. These scantily clad dancers and dance partner romances are for us low life liberals to enjoy not uptight conservatives.

Sarah Palin said yesterday on Hannity's radio show she will be coming to watch. Bet they get big ratings too.
