Most celebrities, even if they promote voting, they do not vote themselves. As it turns out, most celebrities are not even registered to vote.
Bristol Palin is currently busy trying to save her spot on 'Dancing With the Stars'. She avoided being voted off again this week. The seventh person voted of the show was Rick Fox. Bristol was saved for another week, but she continues to perform at the bottom of the pack, usually coming in last or second to last each week. For some reason the American voters want to save her and see her come back to DWTS each week.
With such a close race in Alaska, one would think that this would be a crucial time for Bristol to vote. Even if she was out of state practicing for 'Dancing With the Stars', she could have mailed in her absentee ballot. Apparently she had the ballot, but forgot to send it in.
Of course, she will not forget in the next election in 2012, when her mom, Sarah Palin, may be the on the ballot. Bristol believes that her mom is the right woman for the job in the White House.
Bristol Palin forgot to vote in mid term elections because her new found celebrity status on 'Dancing With the Stars', is consuming her mind and physically taxing her body. Practicing for the show must be done daily, with most celebrity dancers, dancing all day every day until they are eliminated. Hopefully Bristol can hang in there until the end.
Bristol actually has a pretty good excuse, because she would have needed to send her ballot into the Alaskan election committee several days before the election to make sure that it arrives on time. Sometimes it takes even longer to get to Alaska due to its remote location than other places in the U.S. If Bristol was dancing daily, she may have forgotten and then did not have enough time to send the ballot.
Hopefully this will be the last time that we hear "Bristol Palin forgot to vote in mid term elections", because if not, Sarah may have to get involved and straighten the girl out.
