Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" Halloween Costume

With Britney Spears finally making a comeback in her career, she is going to be a popular Halloween costume inspiration. Those who grew up seeing her perform hits such as "Baby One More Time" and "Oops, I did it Again" might want to dress up as the younger version of Britney for Halloween. I'm going to tell you how to make a Britney Spears Halloween costume, specifically a "Baby One More Time" costume.

First, I'm going to explain what you will need for the schoolgirl outfit she is wearing in the "Baby One More Time" music video. You will need a white button up dress shirt, a charcoal/gray sweater, black heals, a short black skirt, and knee high socks. In the video for "Baby One More Time" Britney is wearing dark colored knee socks, but her background dancers are wearing white ones, so either color will work. If you would like, you could even wear dark argyle knee socks. For your hair, you will need fuzzy light pink ponytail holders and a little darker pink ribbon. When you put on the dress shirt, unbutton it a bit and tie the bottom so that your stomach shows. If you want to unbutton the shirt all the way and wear a dark colored sports bra (Britney wears a maroon one "Baby One More Time") underneath you can do that as well. Also, if you do not feel comfortable exposing your stomach, you can just tie the bottom of the shirt right above your skirt. Cuff the shirt so that it comes just below your elbow. Put the sweater on over the shirt and leave it unbuttoned. This should also be cuffed and the cuff from the shirt should be showing. The skirt, socks, and shoes are self-explanatory. Next, I'm going to explain how you should do your hair in order to look like Britney Spears in the "Baby One More Time" video. You will need to braid your hair into pigtails. The pigtails should be placed at about the height of your ears and out to the side a little. Where the pigtails meet your head, you should put the light pink fuzzy ponytail holder in your hair.
