Britney Spears is Bald

Britney Spears showed up at a tattoo shop in San Fernando Valley Friday night to get a tattoo. Strangely enough, Miss Britney was also sporting a new, bald head.

Tattoo artist, Matt Gott, said he didn't notice she was bald at first because she was wearing a hoodie. Max Gott of Body and Soul, in Sherman Oaks, said Britney received a cute little tattoo of lips on her wrist. According to other witnesses, Britney also received a cross tattoo on her lower hip.

Fox News Channel reports that sources say Britney arrived at the hair salon and asked to get her head shaved. When the salon personnel refused to shave her head, Britney grabbed the shears and did it herself.

Witnesses say they asked Britney why she shaved her head and her response was, "I'm tired of plugging things into it. I'm tired of people touching me." Witness, Emily, says Britney said she was just "tired of it all".

This Britney-Gone-Bald news comes on the heels of other reports that Britney checked in and out of a rehab at Eric Clapton's Crossroads center in Antigua.

Britney has drawn a lot of media attention and criticism with her seemingly bizarre behavior as of late. Many will remember Britney's recent appearance in public without underwear. The pictures of this incident are everywhere.

In addition, there is the highly publicized divorce from Kevin Federline, also know as K Fed, and their current custody battle over the children. Many fans and media have worried about Britney, after watching her appear night after night drinking and carousing til all hours of the night. Is Britney having a break down?

Fox News Channel reporters wonder if Britney's bizarre behavior will affect her ability to parent her children and ask if Kevin Federline might end up with custody of the children. There is no doubt that Britney is acting out due to something that is bothering her, however, should a mother lose her children because she shaved her head bald and got a tattoo? How much will this recent bald-behavior affect the custody case between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline?

With all the conjecture out there, it would be nice to get a real statement from Britney, herself. Britney, why did you shave your head? Your fans, and others, want to know. Really.

Many people are taking potshots at Britney and her new bald, but beautiful, look. Isn't it strange how all these people have something negative to say when they don't have a clue as to why she did this? That's about as bizarre as Britney's behavior, in this reporter's opinion.

I know many of you must be asking yourself the following question. What will Britney Spears do next? Let us all hope it is nothing that harms her or her children. After watching news stories on Anna Nicole Smith for the past week or so, I don't think I'm alone in hoping that nothing so tragic happens to Britney.
