Britney Spears Does it Again, and Again, and Again
Fans of the pop star loved the performance but now a day later, there seems to be a backlash as many are angry that she did not sing live. This is a strange accusation for Britney fans to make because she has rarely ever sung live. In the course of her career Spears has sung live infrequently and it is usually ballads that are sung live. I think the fans who are most upset are the ones who paid $500 for $35 tickets just to see Britney "live" after almost 4 years. Spears did not lip synch to any new music, she instead performed old hits that include: Slave 4 you, and Baby One More Time.
In her concerts when her microphone is turned on for her to talk to the audience, you can hear Spears gasping and trying to catch her breath and seconds later when she breaks back into song, she is smoothly singing without a problem, yet somehow her fans are just catching on that she might not be the "live" singer they thought she was.
Britney Spears is a performer. That means that she is a great dancer and gives an overall good performance when you go to see her in concert. If you are expecting a great singing show, it would be best to hit a Christina Aguilera concert because she at least can sing but she doesn't quite have the moves of Britney.
The "concerts" if they can be called that were short at only 11 and 12 minutes long. In one concert, a fan threw what looked to be a marshmallow at Spears and it just missed her when her bodyguards escorted the singer offstage because of that little incident.
In another move Britney seemed to take the words from one of her songs "Toxic" in which she sings, "I need a hit, baby give me it" and gave them a whole new meaning as she put her fingers to her nose and mimicking snorting cocaine with a smile.
In the same week as her concerts and upset fans, Britney Spears made more headline news as new pictures were released to the media showing an almost topless Spears smiling while holding two flowers over her uncovered breasts. Spears camp has come out swinging and says that Britney is very upset and disappointed that someone put these pictures out there for all to see.
The media has spouted off all week about Britney Spears' topless photos, which is a bit untrue and considering the bottomless shots seen around the world before, these should be the least embarrassing photos ever taken of Britney Spears.

Post a CommentWell I don't know what ya'll are thinking. There's reality shows that are far from real, and those people want to be called acting stars. And you have entertainers who want to be music stars. All she is a person that is to look good and dance like reality people are supposed to stare at each other for 5 minutes with wild eye movements for dramatic scenes. And as long as you are willing to spend money on it they will sell it. Just keep one thing in mind... not every model is a model with the make-up. So what does that say about entertainers and reality people?
Leave her along maybe she had a sore throat. I am still a fan at least beat the odds of most!
I agree with james and tammy - she has ALWAYS lip synched from day 1. I think back then the big excuse was heavy dance moves. I'm really kind of shocked that everyone is acting like they didn't know or just cracking down on lip synching. Who cares? She didn't exactly get her superstar status from her live performances anyways.
But i did see Christina Aguileria live and she doesn't lip synch - she was hoarse from a cold and she still sounded awesome.
i don't know why everybody is so upset. Britney has ALWAYS lip synched from day 1 and what's shocking is that everyone is acting so surprised.

Are these people really surprised??? She's always lip-synched! I was at Madison Square Garden to see Heaven and Hell at the WaMu Theater @ MSG, which was the same night Britney Spears was performong at MSG. I was laughing at the stupid little girls and gay guys who spent top dollar to watch her lip-sync onstage, while I wne to see Heaven and Hell, whose lead singer Ronnie James Dio ACTUALLY SANG and did NOT lip-sync, and the rest of the band played the music live. This is why I love rock, and not crappy Top 40 Pop! I love music that lasts, not the -here-today-gone-tomorrow defecation being excreted out of the anus of the music industry. Years from now, these poor souls will listen to Britney Spears, and say to themselves "Did I actually enjoy this crap?" (Maybe not the gay guys, since a lot of them love campy stuff, anyway! Well, a lot of them do!)Then, you take an album like AC/DC's "Back in Black" or Led Zeppelin's 4th album, and listen to it in 20 years time--and it STILL rocks!
She's a great singer and a great dancer! But now,she has self-esteem issues because the media told everyone what was going on in her PERSONAL life! She doubts herself! She doesn't want to sing incase she stuffs up!The media would be all over her again! I congratulate her for even standing up on that stage after everything!
