Britney Spears Beaten Up by Boyfriend Jason Trawick? Some Tabloids Say Yes (Audio Link)

Britney Spears has once again found herself the subject matter of tabloid fodder and this time the news is extreme. According to RadarOnline.com, the latest issue of Star Magazine contains a 'world exclusive' report that Jason Trawick, Britney's boyfriend of one year, has apparently beaten her up in the past.

In a separate claim, Star mentions that Britney was pregnant with Jason's baby "earlier this year".

But how did this news get to Star Magazine? RadarOnline.com reported that Britney's former husband (remember husband number one of 55 hours, childhood friend Jason Alexander?) spoke with Star and submitted a tape recorded conversation with Spears.

Alexander said that he has known Spears since the 4th grade and told Star that Britney revealed to him that her life "had turned into a nightmare."

On the audio, Alexander asked Spears why Trawick wasn't in jail and she responded "Because I didn't want the public knowing about it and I won't want to file anything, so everyone could find out. So I've just left him and changed my number."

Although these claims have been adamantly denied by Spears and Trawicks' representatives, RadarOnline.com reported they have obtained the actual audio from Star Magazine and it can be listened to here.

On the other hand, People Magazine reported that sources "close to the couple" said that the story is untrue. One source told People, "Britney has in the past been very difficult and has had tantrums around Jason, but he was and is nothing but patient with her."

Hopefully, the story that Britney was beaten is indeed a fake one and she still has what appears to be a stable force via Jason Trawick in her previously tumultuous life.
