Britney Spears Blacks Out from Her Circus Debut

Britney Spears has the staying power of an aged piece of gum stuck underneath a glass table, though the world hardens her, if you put her in your mouth, she still tastes good. This isn't to say with the release of her new album Circus that people should be clamoring to put Spears in their mouths, but rather that we should savor her growing success without acknowledging her age.

Circus mark's Spear's sixth album in ten years not counting single releases or greatest hit albums and at the rate she's churning out hits like "Womanizer" and showcasing her post baby body in a tasteful, non-vag filled way, people will love her all over again. She's already overcome the fan's hesitation with her reported "second coming" when Spears manager, Larry Rudolph, encouraged Britney to do a documentary after her many media breakdowns. The documentary titled "Britney Spears For the Record", tailed the now aging poplet around to various sound stages to finish her new music video as well as several clips at home with her family.

Though engineered as a way for fans to understand Miss Spear's breakdown throughout 2006 till now, mostly it seemed to prove to fans that she really needed to promote her album. The energy given to the cameras while Spears was being interviewed in full Circus garb showed the hurt and pain her comeback is clearly causing. Emotion and nervous ticks abounded as shame rode the poor girl who couldn't make eye contact with her viewers. The disconnect and physical discomfort ran down Miss Brit's rouged cheeks as she sympathized with caged animals and the inability to relieve herself of the thoughts in her own head.

These poignant interviews/ confessionals of Spears were interjected with scenes of supposed maternal bliss. However, one can only think of the performer's previous statements of complete unhappiness as she balances her babies of her hips, laughs with her father, and reports that "she doesn't like to think negatively". One could call Britney Spears quite the hypocrite or perhaps a split personality with the way the documentary switches from her positive moments where she pushes to think happily and then several seconds later confesses that her children are what keep her going every day. One would think a career and several professional caretakers riding her like a mule from village to village to make money would convince her as well.

The only thing "For the Record" has managed to do is confirm to many sources that Britney Spears may be "getting better" whatever that means for her well being, but she is most certainly ill and ill used by many people surrounding her. The last thing she should be doing is launching a CD that has already topped Billboard top 200 at number one and gallivanting on a worldwide tour for thousands of dollars a ticket. Despite the success of Circus and the revelation of For the Record, obviously no enlightenment was gleaned for Britney's caretakers who continually push her into a new spot light with an old form and new beats that do nothing to hide her pain. Leave the woman alone and just let her be with her children for an extended amount of time, maybe then we'd see something productive out of her. As of now her life is her own private circus, how appropriate.

I'm sure regardless of whether people want Spears to succeed or fail it doesn't much matter because she's proved she excel's at both time and again and can still charm the pants off us all. She's the last word in a gossip rag, the first photo on a tabloid and the reigning name on anyone's lips. Whether real or imagined, Britney Spears, whoever that is, has gotten herself somewhere in ten years, and that's most than you can say for most of us.

Nice article. There is no question that she has great talent and I wish her the greatest success. I just wonder if she is enjoying it.
