Britney Spears Falls Hard for Howie Day

Romance can truly be found in the strangest places. Britney Spears appears to have sparked up another romance during her latest stay in rehab. Celebrity sites are reporting that Spears has fallen hard for musician Howie Day. The pair have reportedly "hit it off" and were inseparable at the Promises rehabilitation center.

Britney Spears was recently released from Promises. The newly detoxed pop singer met Day while they were both at rehab. Life & Style, a news section of MSNBC, reports that Spears "fell hard" for the troubled singer-songwriter while in the facility. Spears has even invited Day to attend a family wedding with her in June. It is also being reported that the pair have already kissed a few times as well. Britney supposedly "lights up" when she talks about Day and thinks he is "the best kisser ever".

Reports have surfaced that Spears mother is not excited about her latest love interest. She is worried that Day could be the wrong person for her. This is because of the rough past that Day has had. The singer/song-writer has been arrested twice for violent outbursts. The first was because he locked a fan in his tour bus bathroom because she would not sleep with him. The second incident happened when Day became drunk and verbally abused a flight crew in Boston.

Spears entered rehab on February 16, 2007. Her stay lasted less than twenty-four hours. Fans were shocked when they found out that Spears went directly to a haircutting studio and shaver her own hair off with clippers. She returned to a rehabilitation center a few days later. Her second stay only last a day as well, as the singer soon checked out. Spears once again returned to the rehabilitation center on February 22,2007. Her stay lasted until March 20, in which she was released because she successfully complete her rehab program. Spears is reportedly doing fine and excited about a possible relationship with Howie Day.
