Britney Spears Leaves Seclusion

Britney Spears went into seclusion after leaving rehab. Who would blame her with all of the media scrutiny and paparazzi following her everywhere? It seems that Spears has emerged from her seclusion and is been seen out and about.

Spears checked out of the Promises facility in Malibu last Tuesday and has been spending time doing what she loves best, going to the salon, shopping and going to dinner with friends. She was also seen taking hip hop dance classes.

It seems that Spears also went to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting as she had been before entering rehab. She also broke a molar and had to make an emergency dentist visit to have it fixed.

Spears' manager stated that the trip to the Century City Medical Plaza on Sunday was nothing serious and that Britney was fine.

"She just went to the dentist," Rudolph said in a statement. "She had a toothache. I have no more details."

An employee at the hospital told Us Weekly that Britney smiled for the cameras but "the moment she got into the elevators she was complaining to her bodyguards that it was unfair her tooth was broken, but she couldn't take painkillers."

The singer was in the hospital for only 45 minutes and police were required to manage the huge crowds of media waiting to get a glimpse of the star.

Police went as far as setting up road blocks to make sure Spears could get home without being followed by blood thirsty paparazzi. People could get hurt with that many paparazzi trying to snap a shot of Britney and the police did what they could to prevent that.

Spears also visited the Epitome Salon in Bel-Air to get a spray on tan. This also caused a huge media gathering with swarms of paparazzi and bystanders.

"Given what she did the last time she popped into a hair salon, there was no telling what she would do next, and no one wanted to miss whatever happened," an eyewitness said.

Police were called again to disperse the crowd and Britney left quickly through a back door. The situation seemed to upset Spears who canceled dinner plans with Rudolph to dine at home.

"It's sad because she wanted to go out publicly and show everyone she was okay, especially Saturday night, because it was Kevin's birthday," a close source to Britney says.

"She didn't want people to think she was home depressed while he was having this big party in Vegas."
