Britney Spears Rushed to the Hospital

The police were called to Britney Spears' home shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday due to a custody dispute between her and her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

According to Us Magazine, Federline's body guards went to pick up their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, at Britney's home after her scheduled visitation with the boys. At that time Britney refused to hand the boys over to the bodyguards. The police were called to see to it that the court order of returning the children was followed.

Britney's scheduled visitation with the children was supposed to end at 7:00 pm PT but she kept the children for more than an hour after that until the police finally arrived after 8:00.

The children were eventually given back over to Kevin Federline shortly after 11:00 PT. After this point several ambulances were called to the home because the police suspected Britney was under the influence of some substance.

Britney was then taken to a Cedars-Senai hospital in one of the ambulances for a medical evaluation.

It is not yet known exactly why Britney was taken to the hospital, but it is being reported by TMZ that Britney was found to "be under the influence of an unknown substance" by the police who were coming to see that a court order was fulfilled.

Britney did finally show up for her scheduled deposition on Thursday, albeit almost to hours late. The pop star's deposition was scheduled to run from 9:45 to 11:45 this morning, but she showed up at 11:32 and stayed until the original ending time of 11:45. That left only 13 minutes for questions from Federline's attorney.

Britney had skipped multiple scheduled depositions before Thursday and she was ordered by the judge to actually attend her next scheduled deposition, which was Thursday morning, or she would face jail time. Maybe next time he should tell her she has to attend on time.
