Britney Spears Sued for Sexual Harassment

It's odd isn't it? If Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are in the headlines along comes Britney Spears. Spears has had a volatile law suit filed against her.

Allegations have been levied against Britney Spears by one of her body guards, Fernando Flores. Radar Online reports that court documents have been filed that indicate Britney Spears subjected him to sexual harassment.

Court documents indicate that Fernando Flores was employed by Advanced Security and went to work for Britney Spears in February of this year. Within two weeks he alleges that Britney involved in behavior that exposed herself to him and caused him "shock and disgust."

According to Radar Online, Britney told her kids she was white trash, had vigorous sex within earshot of the kids and apparently the body guard, and had a habit of parading around naked in front of the guard. Court documents explain that Spears allegedly exposed herself in partial or full nudity to Fernando Flores on a number of occasions.

Flores worked for Advanced Security Concepts.

According to the initial documents filed in accordance with California's Fair Employment Act, Advanced Security Concepts alleges that Fernando Flores was forced to quit and that prior to that nothing was done to prevent sexual harassment despite repeated complaints.

Despite the fact that the original sexual harassment complaint appears to have been filed in conjunction with his employer, Fernando Flores revoked a call to action under the Fair Employment Act and filed his own suit in Superior Court of Las Angeles alleging sexual harassment and emotional distress. Britney Spears and Advanced Security Concepts are named as co-defendants.

The suit sounds fair if Britney actually pranced around naked in front of the security guard, had sex within earshot, and made repeated, unwanted sexual advances. (Does Jason Trawick, Spear's boyfriend, know anything about this? )

I'm sure that celebrity body guards are somewhat accustomed to aberrant behavior, but it appears Britney Spears behavior crossed a line. Britney seems to have a problem with the whole boundaries thing. She can't even keep her privates covered in public. The court documents allege that she couldn't keep herself covered in front of Flores, either.

The allegations also paint a picture of Britney Spears as an unfit mother. The court documents call her conduct toward her children "extreme and outrageous." In addition to having sex in their presence, she fed them food to which they were allergic Flores alleges Spears refused them medical treatment when the food made the children vomit. She also is said to have requested his belt at one point and used it in a tirade on Preston. (Flores states that he did not know why she wanted the belt when she requested it.)

At this point, however, there has been no move to have the kids removed from Britney Spears, but the allegations are very disturbing. They are included in the suit to help prove the emotional distress experienced by Flores. I am sick with concern over the emotional distress of her children. I hope this suit will prompt altruistic moves to protect the kids' best interests.

The suit alleges she called herself "white trash" in front of the children. If the shoe fits...
