Clad in a black Chloe dress dotted with black-sequins, the tubby mommy started off the festivities, looking ever the party-animal as she kicked off 2007 on two separate occasions, once inside the club on the VIP upper-level and once on the outdoor terrace looking over the Las Vegas Strip.
Then about an hour later she was reported to have discussed calling the night early as she was seated on a cabana bed reserved for VIP guests. As she rose to her feet she reportedly fainted.
Spears' crew quickly ushered the tuckered-out pop star into an oversized black blanket and dragged her out of the club.
Though her spokespersons denied that she fainted the news was widely reported by Vegas insiders that she had. In fact, it looks like the steady diet of partying and drinking has gotten to the new mother - and so she retired to her hotel room for a good night's sleep. Also, an ambulance was called to the casino, however it was unclear if the medical vehicle was intended for Spears.
Spears was in Las Vegas to continue her spa treatments, which she had already started in Scottsdale, Arizona earlier in the week. There she was spotted making time in a club with Arizona Cardinals quarterback and former USC signal-caller Matt Leinart, nibbling on Matt's ear, reportedly.
But the stress may have been getting to Spears since her new buddy Paris Hilton had already started calling her on some things she was doing, including calling her an "animal," and now her reported intimate moment with Leinart - a former BF of Hilton's - may have just added to the fire started.
For now the pop star will have to settle for pleasant dreams while Hilton plots her next move in the "I Wanna Be A Star" sweepstakes. One word of advice for Hilton as she deterimines the next course of action is some voice lessons, followed by some of the dancing and entertaining variety. No word on whether Sominex or such an equivalent was dropped in somebody's glass of champagne as the clock struck midnight.
